Team up with the true experts of Lagoa de Óbidos to discover the rich birdlife of this natural space in central Portugal.

There are 7km² of biodiversity, which makes this wetland a place for wintering, stevedoring, residence and resting and feeding stations for migrating birds throughout almost the entire year.

This activity includes walking along trails, marshes and roads. Climb stairs to access observatories, and will be guided by professionals with extensive experience in birdwatching and bird photography in Portugal, which may vary depending on your experience and contracted conditions.

Start: Óbidos Lagoon (Arelho, Vau, Nadadouro, Foz do Arelho)
Route: Variable, depending on conditions, time of year and species present.
Distance covered: arable, between 3 and 6 km walk, with some journeys by car, if necessary.
Recommended minimum age: 6 years
Duration: 3 to 4h.
Difficulty level: Easy
Included: Intertidal guide, use of optical material (binoculars), map of the lagoon, consultation of the bird identification guide, personal accident insurance.
Not included: transportation to the location, food, drinks or other materials and services not specified as included.
